It couldn't be easier to book a Drum Lesson with me at Hackney Wick Drum Studio.

Simply click book now next to your desired lesson duration,  pick a time and date that suits you and you've taken the first step to becoming a better drummer.

This is perfect if you've never played the drums before. You can come down and give it a try, learn some great beginners tips and ultimately see if drumming is for you. Of course, if you have played the drums before and want to come and meet, talk through the areas of your drumming you'd like to improve and see the studio, then that's great too.

Free Trial Drum Lesson

30 Minute Drum Lesson

A thirty minute drum lesson will consist of a 3-5 minute warm up on the practice pad, going through some basic rudiments. We will then move on to the lesson proper and usually will cover 1 - 2 topics during the remaining time. I will also give you a print out of the lesson to take away and practice in you own time. A 30 minute lesson is recommend for children 7-11.

40 Minute Drum Lesson

A forty minute drum lesson will start with the usual 3 -5 minute  rudiment warm up on the practice pad. During the rest of the lesson, we'll have time to have an in depth look at at least 2 different areas of your drumming. This can range from learning new grooves, rudiments, some sight reading, fill ideas or going through pieces from the grade book. A 40 minute lesson is perfect for anyone 12 years and above.

60 Minute Drum Lesson

The sixty minute drum lesson is what it's all about! As with every lesson, we'll begin with the usual warm up rudiments, but having the extra time will allow us to go through them at varying tempos, which is great for pushing yourself. It also will allow you extra time on each different topic that we'll be covering, usually 2 -3 different things during the hour. Perfect for beginners and advanced drummers who want to spend a little more time honing their skills.
