Hackney Wick Drum Studio opened in late 2018 and has since been providing drum lessons to hundreds of happy students. Check out the testimonials page for some great reviews.
The studio is equipped with a Roland electric drum kit and a full acoustic kit fitted with mesh heads, giving you the feel for a real kit but without the volume. Both kits have Zildjian low volume cymbals, again giving an excellent tone without the ear splitting sound.
I've found that this quieter approach to practice works best as you get all the benefits of a great drum lesson, but you won't leave with you ears ringing.
HWDS is also equipped with all the facilities to record both audio and video of your drum lesson if you desire, giving you a reference for your practice and something to take home.
Jack started playing the drums aged four and has built up over thirty of time behind the kit. After joining his first band aged eight he went on to study at BIMM in 2007. Always keen to pass on his knowledge to others, he gave his first drum lesson in 2002 and has taught thousands of hours of drums to beginners and advanced players alike since then.
He has been fortunate enough to have toured the UK and Europe countless times and played gigs all over the world. His passion has always been in music education, so if you're looking for drum lessons from an experienced and patient drum teacher, why
not book a lesson?
